Site Visit Information: North East Link is Victoria’s largest road project and will complete the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network, connecting the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway. This transformative project is designed to ease congestion, improve travel times, and create thousands of jobs, while significantly enhancing public transport, walking, and cycling routes.
The project includes a new 6.5-kilometre twin tunnel under the Yarra River, significant road upgrades, and Melbourne’s first dedicated busway. This site visit provides a unique opportunity to see the cutting-edge engineering and construction techniques being employed to deliver this ambitious infrastructure project.
Plan for the Day: Details of the schedule and meeting point will be communicated to the successful registrants via the confirmation calendar invite.
