Innovative water management for underground constructions
February 20, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm AEDT
Summary
Water ingress during underground construction has been known to cause structural instability, heightened maintenance costs, and pose an array of safety hazards. These hazards range from the seemingly minimal moisture damage to the more severe cracking. Traditionally, solutions such as grouting, drainage pipes, and repair injections have been employed. However, these methods are not only temporary but also prove to be rather costly, creating a case for an innovative and sustainable alternative. This webinar will present water management using drainage mesh solutions along with case studies from projects that have pioneered the usage of these mesh solutions. They provide a tangible demonstration of reductions in environmental impact, lower costs, and enhanced durability across diverse environments and geologies.
