On what was a perfect day for golf, we recently held the annual ATS golf day at Parramatta Ryde golf course. Battling out for the Peter Watson Trophy, we had an excellent turnout with 104 players in attendance. Attendees from contractors, consultants and suppliers competed not only from New South Wales but from interstate and even Bangkok. This year again family and friends of Peter Watson were in attendance and we really enjoy meeting up with the family once again. This year we would like to give a special shoutout to Rick Fox from Promat who wasnot only a friend but who also worked with Peter Watson. His continued generous sponsorship is greatly appreciated. Also to all the player that reached into their own pocket on the novelty hole 17th beat the pro hole, thank you, as we raised an additional $2000 alone!
With the aim of raising money for the world renowned pioneering disease research Garvan Institute, which was very close to Peter Watsons heart, this day could not achieve what it has done since its inception raising over $120K along the way. If it wasn’t for the hole sponsors, prize and cart sponsor, we would not be able to dontate as much as we have. Again, a big shout out to those companies in the tunnelling industry that dig deep into their pockets to support the day:
