Michael is a civil engineer who has many years of project, program, contract administration, consultancy and asset management experience in road, rail, aviation, defence, mining, and finance. His experience spans the entire asset lifecycle and he has designed, delivered and maintained multiple signature infrastructure projects during his career.
He is the ‘Chief Engineer’ for the Queensland business and provides leadership for the Assets Engineering team, which plays a key role in the identification and delivery of major maintenance and asset renewal capital works. The team is the custodian of Transurban Queensland’s multibillion-dollar tunnel and road infrastructure portfolio. Michael and his team are key contributors to Transurban’s asset development, acquisition, and integration activities.
