2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the Australian Tunnelling Society and to mark this very special landmark in the history of the ATS, a number of promotions and events are currently being organised for the year. These will include:
- The release of special anniversary shirts (business and polo)
- Other anniversary products to be confirmed soon
- A major birthday party event in June 2022. This will take the form of a half-day gathering in each state with some degree of national video hook up and local sit-down dinner in the evening
- A special edition of the ATS Journal which will feature significant past projects plus the future direction of our industry
- Further anniversary themed technical sessions and meetings through the year
