Tom Roper Bio

Tom Roper is a Geotechnical and Tunnel Engineer with 13 years of experience in underground design and construction. Starting his career in a boutique design consultancy for the mining industry, he now serves as a Technical Manager at Acciona, contributing to major tunnelling projects such as NorthConnex, WestConnex 3a, and Sydney Metro West. Currently, Tom is completing his PhD at The University of Queensland, focusing on the Economics of the Observational Method in tunnelling.
