On Thursday April 27, Dr Charles MacDonald was officially recognised by Roads Australia for his contribution to many of Australian road tunnel mega projects by winning the prestigious John Shaw Medal. Charles, who is widely recognised as a leading figure in the Australian civil construction industry in both the private and public sectors has worked as a chartered civil engineer for fifty years, delivering road infrastructure in Australia and in overseas locations including the UK, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia.
