ITA’s October Lunchtime Lecture series instalment is taking place tonight, October 12, and will feature David Oliveira flying the flag for the Australian tunnelling industry on the subject of ‘structural use of permanent fibre sprayed concrete linings.’
The session will include an overview on the permanent sprayed concrete linings guidelines written by WG12 and ITAtech presented by Karl Gunnar Holter (WG12 animateur), a presentation on ‘EN standard revision (testing and performance criteria’ by Benoit de Rivaz and a presentation on the use of high-performance fibres in PSCL for road tunnels in Australia’ by David Oliveira. The session will finish with a dedicated question and answer session, will last approximately 1.5 hours and begins at 1pm CEST time which is 10pm AEDT.
The Lunchtime Lecture series remains free and open to all for the foreseeable future.
